CO-WORK + LIVING | Bali, INA
Technology has tremendous impact on what we perceive to be freedom.
Only a few years ago possession of your own home or office was one of the main goals to achieve. Now, it’s being able to travel across the globe, and celebrating the lifestyle of a digital nomad. And it increases the demand for shared spaces worldwide. In this project we investigated how such space could be designed.
The helix as a model for a continuous space wrapped around a central atrium was the primary design driver for building. In the co living environment we expanded utility corridors and circulation elements and broadened them to become shared balconies, meant for informal meeting spaces.
The two buildings form an open square or recreational meeting point.
