We are a creative space where everyone has rooms to grow.
K-Thengono Design Studio is not just an architecture studio. We are a creative space where everyone has rooms to grow. To discover new frontiers of our creative journey.
And we keep it small, to make our workplace more intimate. Making our studio a more engaging and lateral ground for learning and growing. With and through each other.
From work to play, all at one table. Working collectively to engage every projects with fresh ideas.
We are a team of inventors that don’t believe in one-fits-all formula. We approach every client’s brief without presumption. Making every canvas a creative playground without walls.
We are a studio that solves problem through creativity. In ways that are being reinvented on the daily, in a world changing even faster than the time to read this.
We are a melting pot of cultures, everybody puts a different flavour into the mix.

Kelvin Thengono approaches architecture as response through contextualisation, shaping spatial experiences within the interior space. His concern for the climatic condition invests his work with creative thinking through playful use of natural light and ventilation. His work is influenced by the modern movement, mainly accompanied by the connection with the Indonesian Traditional Architecture.
That is why Kelvin loves promoting local natural material that incorporates exposed concrete, wood, and stone. He took the first step of his career in San Francisco, California. As an Architectural Designer for award winning architecture firms, including Craig Steely Architecture, Jensen Architects, and Min|Day. Kelvin moved back home to Bali to work with Alexis Dornier as a Project Designer before he started his own practice in 2019.
