We’re deeply honored to be recognized as the Winner of Emerging Talent category by Design Anthology. Our studio remains grounded in context, driven by care for people, and closely connected to place. Heartfelt thanks to the organizers, our dedicated team, and everyone who has supported our journey. We’ll continue to craft thoughtful, place-based architecture in collaboration with communities wherever meaningful context emerges. (2025, Oct. 2nd)

K-Thengono Design Studio is proud to participate in JIA CURATED 2025, held on August 14 to 18 at Bali Festival Park, Sanur. For this exhibition, we are showcasing Joglo Reimagined, a recently completed residence that fuses the timeless character of traditional Javanese Joglo architecture with modern sensibilities. We are delighted to join this platform where designers from across the creative industry come together to exchange ideas and celebrate design innovation.

Curated by Suzy Annetta, Founder of Design Anthology, the exhibition revolves around the theme of “scale,” featuring maquettes by 24 architects from across Indonesia. From intimate residences to expansive public spaces, the showcase highlights the intersection of craft and design in architecture, shaped by rich and diverse cultural contexts.

K-Thengono Design Studio was invited to OMAH Library to share the principal’s reflections and experiences in architecture, particularly on the key influences that have shaped our journey over the past five years. During the session, we also had the opportunity to recount how we were first introduced to architecture and what it's like to grow professionally within the field.

This event was part of Dara(h) Muda, a thoughtful initiative led by Realrich Sjarief, where young and emerging architects are invited to share their architectural narratives. We’re grateful for the chance to contribute to this inspiring platform and to exchange both professional insights and personal stories from our design journey.

As a collaborative effort between the client, architects, and consultants, The Skylit House is a testament to the power of shared vision and thoughtful design.
